    idk maybe its nothing, but my gt use to make this huge suction noise every time i turn off the car and now pretty recently it hasnt done that and my rpm needle is jumping around a little more...i took off and put back on and took off and put back on the intake to make sure that isnt the problem, still same result, the things i have done most recent are the hvtb and painted my ignition coils, but i know i put them all back on right and made sure no paint got under them...anyone know?

    i was just suggested to get a powertune...anyone else? and when the needle is jumping is only like a milimeter not like 2500-3000, i was also thinking maybe its cause the weather has been humid and warmer lately? i have no clue and want to find out

    A jumping tach usually indicates a bad crank sensor.

    You have to test for a signal from the sensor while cranking the engine.

    It also could be a number of things as well. Probably need more information.

    yeah i talked to synthetic, he believes i need to get my car tuned...i already have the zzp pcm, but needs further tuning i guess..

    when i replace the pcv valve in mine i forgot to put the o-ring back in and it would make the sucking sound when i turned it off plus it ran crappy. did you mess with this? its on the upper intake manifold on the passenger side
    99 Grand Prix old build- CAI, Custom exhaust, HV3, Stage 2 TB, custom tune, ported heads intense s1x cam, headers.
    Nothing great Just a small T66 Turbo with a Hv3 On a stock tranny untill i finish the other one.
