So i failed in 2011. So here goes 2012. Goals:
- Go to a damn gym finally
- Gain ~20 lbs (im 138 @ 5'11)
- Run a mile under 7 min (im a smoker)
- Hopefully get a nicely toned body.
2nd that. Remember, anything you've eaten very recently is adding to your weight. For example, there are 16 oz in a lb, so drinking a 32 oz beverage is 2 lbs right there. Also, recent significant changes in diet can make a pretty big impact in the form of water weight, too. For example, my diet has been absolute garbage the last couple weeks with the holiday chaos. I've been fluctuating by a few lbs the last few weeks, but I really blew up this past weekend. Since then, I've been a lot better on my diet and drink nothing but water for fluids this week. Results? I was 229lb Monday morning. As of THIS morning (Thur)? 220! That's a 9 lb swing in 4 days.
Yeah, I did the same thing when i changed my diet for the better.
Same thing with the post Christmas change.
Lost 30lbs now! WOOT!
so i plan to try and get into a routine as of this week now that the holiday season is over. i was thinking about trying out some shake mixes or something of the sort to help me along with my little adventure.
anyone have any experiences with the stuff to give me some recommendations or things to avoid? i really dont want to go hulk at the gym, but something to give me a little pump and to give me the right nutrient base for building, toning, and weight loss is right up my alley. would a conventional 'protein shake' do this for me? i'd prefer to buy in a bulk mix since it would be cheaper by a fair amount in the end...
You want a boost 200mg caffeine and 25mg ephedrine. Building toning and weightloss LOL. Building+ weight loss is "toned". Toned is the dumbest word in the word and should be throw OUT. How about dont take supplements, every dam person in the gym takes something be it no xplode, protein, creatine blah blah blah. MOST dont know a dam thing of how it works NOR be dedicated enough for it. Supplements are WAY over rated and if your not gonna try and be a beast just eat FOOD.
Get your ass out of Mil town and come over the boarder and Ill teach you the world.
hah, i hear that. i am not really looking to have something help me out at the gym, so caffeine and ephedrine arent my thing. i would rather just have something help speed my recovery time and to make sure i have a few things my diet won't cover (like excessive protein and glutamine). i dont want to get big, but would love something to help me push my goals.
im getting married in june and i think it would be nice to lose a little weight and look good for everyone. maintaining it afterwards will be something ill have to strive for when i get that far.
food.
im dumb as hell with my diet....so yeah...
Then fix that.
You'll probably get to where you want to be just by changing that.
biggest 'problem zone' is most likely my drinking. it's too bad that i enjoy it.
Just spawn a weak stomach.
Everyone wants wants wants but wont DO DO DO
