Exactly what I tell everyone that asks for advice. When I first started working out I had my BF% read and I had appr. 188lbs of lean mass but weighed 317lbs. So I was right at 41% body fat which is horrible.
I need to get a new reading but I should be close to 200lbs lean mass so even at 238lbs (which is still heavy) I'm probably around 16% which would actually put me at a decently healthy place for my weight.
My biggest problem now is finding size Large shirts that fit properly. They fit my stomach fine but my chest and arms are even tight in XL's

I guess that all makes sence, I'm a pretty big guy, 6'2 so 200lbs isnt a bad weight. I have a lot of muscle but a "gut" at the same time.

I haven't posted in here in awhile but I'd say I hit where I need to be I'm around 145lbs now sometimes I get down to about 140lbs and sometime I hit 147lbs but for the past few months Its been at about 145lbs. at my heaviest I was 210lbs but I'd say most of the time back then I was 190lbs.
I never realized how overweight I was untill I lost all of that I'll go and pick up 45-50lbs of weights and just be like man I used to lug this around with me all the time. So 145lbs at 5'7" I don't look Like a only weigh 145lbs or atleast through my eyes but I just wish I would have done it all sooner high school would have been much different.

i have been keeping up with the running recently. it's getting easier as i continue on. i have hopes to run the entire 5k without stopping.

i went from a 26w dress size to a 12. and size 24 juniors jeans to a 15.
i still want to loose more. but i really dont care what i weigh to be honest i just want to look good in my clothes.. eventually hoping for bikini next summer.. ive never ever been able to wear one :)

well thats the problem. i literally wasnt trying. they are worried something physically is wrong. but im not nessesarily complaining other than the fact that i literally have two pair of pants three shorts and two pair of leggings that actually fit me. my shirts are still all too big. i was working out at first. but after a couple months i stopped because life is too hectic. but i pretty much only cut out fast food turners tea (but you have to be from pittsburgh to know about that ;) ) and pop. and i only eat when im hungry and stop eating when im not hungry instead of when im full.

i agree on the diet comment. you shouldnt have to spend hours upon hours at the gym to loose weight. i lost 30lbs by not drinking pop and jogging at school during gym instead of hiding from the teacher until it was done lol. at night id go for a short 10minute bike ride.
last year i would go for a 1/4 mile jog and honestly i never felt better.
just cut the junk food and pop and get your heat rate up.

I'd say today was a disappointment for me at the gym D:
I went there originally for a chest, triceps, and abs workout, and do some cardio after. Only ended up doing like 4 chest workouts, one tricep workout, and barely an ab workout...Didn't even get to the cardio, too exhausted.

Been on vacation this week, so not much in the form of working out until today. Got up at 2:45am and met my brother-in-law at his gym. Ran a mile then worked chest and triceps, then hit the eliptical for a fast paced 10 minutes. Here's a pic my mom made me take. Shirt and jeans were entirely to big here. Down from a 44 loose fit jeans to 36 relaxed. 20lbs more and I'll be happy.

Because I can't get myself to justify going to the gym just to do one chest exercise three times and leave.
I also said 4 chest workouts because it technically is four different movements combined into two. They call them Supersets bruh.

So here's what 80lbs of loss looks like.
Sitting at 237lbs as of this evening. 85lbs down. Another 17lbs and I feel like I should be where I want.

im still in the running thing that ive been doing. its getting easier to keep running distances versus before where i would be dead tired after a mile straight. this 5k should be a piece of cake if i continue for the next couple weeks.
not really losing any weight, but i now feel like i can keep running from day to day which will help me out with it. im currently like 6 pounds down in 3 weeks. not bad, i'd say.
