thats a differnt model than sti??? duno foregin stuff but it doesn't look like it's not getting the gas mileage it should =P

you can convert any subaru to RWD, its not all that difficult. however, they did not ever make any dedicated RWD ones. i wish they did because the problem with doing a RWD conversion is that the rear diff is pretty weak and you end up breaking it all the time.Originally Posted by offroadfury6

That one was supposed to be a true RWD. Not sure, but I thought I read they swapped a RWD tranny into it.

omg omg omg omg...
by the way, read through that. he is running on subaru parts, i can do the same thing to my car. however, 'he is looking for other options' as far as rear ends go. you and me both, son. what he has done is awesome, but anyone can do it that wants to dismantle the AWD system to try and run off a weak rear end.
love....LOVE the car though. gives me something to aspire to.

My dad has a 71 with the same color/stripes. 350 though, kept trying to get him to get a BB. He's done good with it with some help from me of course'71 Chevelle SS454 I owmed...
