Some parts of our county lost power for like 12 days a few years ago.
Other than spinning at just about every take-off the GP is a great winter car, and its not like I don't know winter, I live 5 miles from lake michigan
winter aint bad. jeebus. I park outside too and I dont really care. I just start my car up, wait a few minutes, maybe scrap off the snow or ice and be on my way. I turn the TCS off everytime it snows and have at it.
ya the chairs thing is all in chicago where parking is a minimuim and people save theyre cleared spaces with random stuff like that. as for the snowfall in the cl pic, thats like nothing
Parts of Audubon County lost power for 7 days in a row over Christmas 2009 and 10 more days later in January/Feburary.
Dad's tractor on the generator was shut off once every 24hrs to check the oil (38 yr old tractor).
We parked a portable diesel barrel next to the tractor because dad learned a few years ago you can't unhook the generator and drive to the big barrel to get fuel with no power-the pump runs off of 110. :th_hammerhead2:
I plowed a plastic chair once.
