Borla's sound ****ing amazing. RedCompG has them, and I will say it's the nicest sounding GP i've heard at idle, and they actually got quieter the higher the rpm(which is odd to me)
They seriously sounded absolutely amazing.
I've got magnaflows on mine, and I really dont care for them, then again I dont have a Res...
I'd go Borla if you have the money
dont get chambered mufflers (flowmasters). that is all you need to know. most exhausts will sound similar to one another unless you go with a nicer muffler like a borla.
Borlas are deep at idle and on light acceleration. Driving normally, its deep until you hit 3k rpm then all you hear is motor until it shifts. If you get on it hard it sounds tits.
There pretty cheap at Wicked Nicky's Exhaust. The Number One Borla Pro XS Dealer! , i ordered mine from there..
times ten on the flowmasters..HATE mine but they were free, im goin back to stocker mufflers and gonna throw a res back in. plenty of sound with no more drone
Stock exhaust sounds the best...none of that rasp at all![]()
ok heres what you do. run open headers and flip them so they stick out your hood.
also honestly glasspacks sound pretty damn good on these.
Id say replace the res with a glasspack and then get this Cherry Bomb Exhaust :: High Performance Exhaust Systems, Cat-Back Systems, Mufflers and Glasspacks :: Disturbing the Peace Since 1968 best of both worlds as soon as I get a little extra money thats what I plan on doing whole setup for me around $175 installed but I already have the 3in exhaust pipe. Its reversible so u can install it anyway u want like take dual exhaust into single (why you would want to ???)
