My mother tells me her 2002 Explorer's idling funny and she has to give it some gas in the morning to keep it from stalling. I figure it's just something being old and dirty, so I tell her to bring it up to the carport so I can clean the MAF, IAC and TB. Had to take the lid off the intake box to get to the MAF. Pretty sure I nailed the problem.

Seed shells and droppings in the bottom of the box. The Explorer now sports a shiny new mousetrap.
