Here is what happens when a co-worker forgets the laws of gravity and weight distribution on a trailer. We had just washed the truck and trailer and we went to drop the trailer and bring the truck around front to park it. Upon releasing said trailer, gravity took over and up went the trailer. We used forklifts to hold it down and backed the truck back under under and left it. What a fun 5 mins that was.

Haha idiot. Don't you want more of the weight towards the rear on those trailers?

A guy I work with did that a couple years ago. I have almost done it before. When we get fridges in at work, alot of times they come with 2 standing upright and one laying on top of those 2. To get the top one down you need the forklift and if you aren't paying attention it is pretty easy to go through the top.

My brother in law had a trailer fall over sideways onto his freshly washed car. Driver pulled up next to where he parked while he was washing it in the loading dock and whoever loaded it put his order on the oposite side of the truck. The forklift driver just unloaded that side and still had the last pallet on the forks pullin away when the whole flatbed went over and crushed his car. Frieght company bought him a new one.

Oh thats nothing. Usually our fridge trucks are 70-25 cubic footers. We get at least one of those a week. Every once in a while we will get window AC trucks that have about 100 of them on there. They are usually about 130 lbs a piece and we have to pallet 16 to a pallet. Those blow.

When i drove long haul id also unload my own truck since my company paid out 300-400 per load to hire out lumpers
