I dont know what gears my car has in it but it will do over 100 in 2nd. I dont really want to switch to the GTP just for the heck of it but to get out of a car payment and still have a quick car.

Manual cars get tiring, and boring.

When I had my GTP, I was begging for another manual car...

Now that I have my S, 6 speeds getting tiring after a while, especially in stop/go traffic..

    I rather have a boosted FWD V6 then a FWD V8...

And car payments do suck, which is why I always payed my cars in cash.

It takes a good driver to launch a car that has 3.29's...like the Comp G's. Which were the performance version of the GTP...which had that gear ratio from the factory...which might have been rebadged and you got lied to. The Comp G has 3.29's and the standard GTP has 2.93's.

The internet looked at your transmissions for you? How cool, I want to know how that one works! Can they rebuild it for you too?

PLEASE...feel free to show me any website that isn't made by your or halfassed by someone that says the Comp G has 2.93's. But...since I already know your wrong and the Comp G never came with anything besides 3.29's...I know I'll never see a answer from you...but go ahead and try.

Hawkins, the one major difference in the comp G package from the standard GTP was the 3.29 final drive ratio.

You're telling us it isnt when thats one was the main features of the package itself.

How you can't produce evidence or a link to a someone else with a similar finding just because we're being rude about it implies you either dont care or are lying.
