I have a .40 Taurus PT24/7, a 9MM Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro and a 9MM P95 Ruger. My next handgun will be some sort of Springfield Armory XD. I need to hit the range. Its been awhile. Also want to try out a Glock and a M&P.

XD Sub feels pretty good in my hands.
TCO, if money is the thing getting in the way, then consider what louisdamani has. A Taurus PT111 is a real nice shooting sub that is more reliable than a Hi Point, but won't break your wallet. They can be had around here for under $320, out the door. If it's for plinking with, then I'd not buck too much on a Hi Point. They're pretty simple, but are a real bear to tear down to clean.
If you think you'll ever carry regularly, then I wouldn't want to bank my life on a Hi Point. Your life is worth more than $120. If the first round cartridge decides to stove pipe on you (assuming it took more than one for a fatal), your attacker will react quicker than you. The other side of that, though, is that it's better to have something, than nothing at all if you're faced with a situation like that. If nothing else, it would make a great club - they're heavy.
I totally agree. It's all personal preference. If you aren't comfortable with it you shouldn't use it. The first time I picked up an XD I hated it. The first time I picked up a Glock I said this ugly basterd feels OK. But, I'm sticking to my Smith and Berettas unless I come across another good deal on a G21sf. I could use a .45 in my collection.
Thats great lol, where do you find pictures like that?
This guys all about prioritys

Whoa didnt catch this thread considering Ive been walking around for about a month now since I got to Afghanistan with a military issue 9mm and my M16A4 figured I better post something. I have a Springfield XD 40 cal compact and looking to buy a DPMS AR 15 when I get home. About who ever was talking about glocks grab a VHS tape and pretend your holding a pistol, Their pretty much the same D@MN thing every Glock ive picked up was bluky unbalanced and uncomfortable gripped piece of ****, If you like Glock go pick up a Springfield XD anyone of the ones they make Ill bet youll like it more. Yeah Basically I hate glocks.
I had an XD and a Glock. Glock was nice, couldn't get the feel of the XD. The only thing I had that was worse was a Mauser Machine Pistol. I can only describe it as shooting an old typewriter. I hate wheel guns.
I carry around my Javelin missile launcher for those days when a suicide bomber in a truck is speeding off somewhere and im on the scene. I also have a Stinger strapped to my back incase of a terrorist plane being spotted near me.
In all reality i dont have any guns. But when i do get into the Air Force im sure my salary will be going towards first, a Vette! Then i will be buying some AR-15's and hopefully i can find some M16A4's still left! An M4A1 would also be nice. Then buy the kit and make them all fully automatic. God Bless America and her guns!
To each his own, grips are all about the individual persons hand angle so it wont fit right for some but great for others, no one can honestly call them crap tho, they work and are very reliable as are other pistols(cept maybe hi-point lol jk) ive shot every model glock out and the only ones I dont really care for are the G.A.P. models. They have new models out with interchangable back straps so that might help.
I don't plan on using it for a carry gun. It would be just a mess around with gun.
Honestly, where I live, there really isn't a need for one. I still live at home in the middle of no where. When I move out I will have a couple shotguns to use at home just in case but out and about, there really isn't much danger here.
