    i have an 02 grand prix that the ignition tumbler decided it's not going to work anymore, key goes in but wont turn. anyways does anyone know how to get the old one out? thanks

    a friend of mine had same problem. i inserted the key and used pliers to try and spin the cylinder. Didn't work though, after trying and trying to turn it. the part of the cylinder that i was gripping on broke off. which gave me access to the tab that the tumblers lock so the cylinder wont turn. you just grab it with needle nose pliers and slide it out. from there just turn the cylinder and remove it as if you had the key in the first place.
