You're not going to get into trouble for telling her to lie or telling the cop you saw an animal, you weren't under oath at the time, just don't lie on the stand about it.

Kudos on pulling her out drunk or not.

Ok me and my buddy were driving home one night after i dropped my gf at her parent's house 3 hours away from where i live and while we were driving we see headlights about 100 yards in front of us (It was around 11pm) make a sharp turn to the right, we thought at first they turned down a road really fast and a split second later we see this white mustang about 30 feet in front of us come into our lane and hits the guard rail and goes airborn and lands into this shallow swamp, so me and my friend pull over and i tell my friend to call 911, and i jump over the guardrail and pretty much roll down the huge imbankment and i pretty much swim up the the mustang that is rolled over on its side and its still running, and i go up to the passenger side door and i try to open the door but it's locked and i can see this nasty smelling white smoke fill the inside of the car soo i panic and go around the car to look for a rock, and then i realize her trunk opened from the crash and there's a battery that happends to be sitting right there in front of my eyes and i take battery and i hit the window but it didn't break bc i didnt really hit it hard enough so i kinda dropped the battery real hard on the window and this time it breaks and i hear this owwwwe. i look inside and i see this pretty cute girl laying in the back seat with flood all over her face and i ask if there was anyone else in the car with her and she said no and then i asked her if she was drinking and she said yes and i remember saying to her dont do that again lol, but then i do something i shouldnt of done and i told her to tell the police that you saw an animal run across the road and that you swerved, and i will say i saw a animal too. and the whole time i'm asking her the questions im trying to pull her out, and shes crying saying sorry sorry shes soo sorry and shes completly drunk cause she asked were you driving, or was it me and i told her i didnt even know her and that i saw her crash. well anyways i called for my friend to help pull her out of the car and we pulled her out and i fell into the swampy water and i told my friend to go ahead and bring her up to my blazer. so by time he gets up to the hill the police and fire department are there. Well it was wrong for me to lie and tell her to say she saw an animal because she was drunk and she could of killed me and my friend. Soo i'm guessing when they took her to the hospital they took a blood test, because i couldnt smell booze on her, and they must of found alcahol in her blood. Soo yesterday a police officer gave me a subpoena saying i'm a witness and i have to go to court next week and it's three hours away! I have plans on that day and i guess if i dont go i can be arrested! wow thats what i can get for helping out someone gees. Well i was wondering if i have to go ? is there something i can say to get out of it ? and if i have to go i honestly dont feel like waisting gas money going up there, soo what if i told them i dont have a way up there ? i just dont feel like going up there. And i still have to stick with what i told the cops, cause i dont feel like getting into trouble.

first of all , you and your buddy have a good heart for helping when you did , if everyone thought like that ??? anyways , if you dont go to court they will put out a bench warrant for you , just stick to your store and dont worry when they ask you what happened , and hope the girl remembers what she said. good luck
