It's not crazy. People are preparing daily for something to happen. Not if, but when. Whether it's end of the world predicted by the end of the Miyan long count calendar on December 21, 2012, worrying if the the U.S Government will fall, foreign country attacks, terrorist attacks, EMP. Whatever your concern, it's always good to be prepared. Hell ask those people who was stuck in New York when the power went out. People with allot of money in there banks and in there hotel room safes couldb't even buy a hotdog from a street vendor because all they had was credit cards. Their hotel keys wouldn't even let them into their rooms. You're not crazy at all. Maybe a little off, but who of us aren't a little off one way or another...

I just think its great to be prepared even to the extent of having a months worth of mre type rations aside
a friend of ours was saying there are talks of chenging the us currency to a american currency that will cover north and south america to prolly wont happen but if it does it will scare alot of people

if shi hits the fan im going to the Canadian woods and living in a cabin on a lake. but in your case itd be a good idea to reload what ammo you can. get a diesel genny too. and a truck with push bars and shi like that. kinda remind me of the guy off tremors

get a big under ground take for diesel and one for gas and propane. and some CBs and shortwave radios. put an electric razor wire fence up. and get some *****in guard dogs. and security cameras.

So exactly how does your buddy plan on getting his gold out of that safety deposit box, thats in a bank.... that probably doesn't have power or employees or electricity?

I've been wanting to get a gun (handgun/shotgun) for a while now. Started looking into building an AR-15, because I could get a lower cheap.... but after all said and done, it was close to $1500. Once I get a little further outta debt, I'll probably go purchase a springfield armory XD-9 5" barrel.

But when/if **** hits the fan... it aint going to be pretty. Thinking we'll be a socialist nation by then anyways
