Ok so the gtp is only a couple parts away from finished that menas ill get bored and i need a new toy so heres what im thinking

    Oldschool
    70-71 monte carlo
    69-71 cutlass
    69-72 nova
    67-71 chevy c10

    engine choice
    383 stroker big cam
    454 big cam
    455 if olds
or something like a 502 or some crazy ****

i figure ill do the engine first then trans

Well, I'm a fan of the Nova. 383 is nice, but the big block has more allure to it. That and a Turbo 400 and you'll be having fun.

Oh, then 383 and a 700R4. No sense wasting the gas unless you are racing. And I've never been that huge a fan of OLDSmobile.

I'm fond of the LSx anything, as you know. But I figured cost or complexity might be an issue.

I've seen a couple of those builds, actually. One guy on LS1Tech is offering to do conversions in F-bodies, but it's some insane amount of money.

ive seen a few cummins montes and my only issue with going newschool engine/lsx is all the computers and crap and cost cause im going to actually build the engine so it will be fresh and no worries with an lsx swap id find a lower milage one cam it do a few bolt ons and be done with it
and to the not a huge olds fan you cant deny a 70 442 it was a badass ride
