Well i'm looking for a used L67 to start building up, i plan on putting in a cam, full sz intercooler, headers etc. What would be too many miles to do this build ? I have been looking for motors with 100k or lower. Morad only has a few L67's one has 97k for just the motor with no wiring or accessories, for $1250 plus shipping. And i know he has a few other with 106k and 116k, would those two motors be too high of mileage for the build ? I plan on getting my s/c ported anyways soo i will be doing the LIM gasket. Also is this site real or a scam ? Used Engines, Used Motors 37k for $995 with free shipping yeah right.

i wouldn't be worried about using a block out of a regal with under 75k miles or so. i say a regal because older people would have bought regals over GPs. I would think most people on here bought their cars used miles on them and started modding from there. And you could probably get a better price from someone on CL or kijiji

Just get one as a core (blown) and rip into it so you know what you have. $1800 bucks will get you a NICE setup. CL has them around me for 100 bucks.

1800 for a L67 is a little pricey... I can get a L32 around here with 30-60K on it for less than that.

I'm thinking i might buy the l67 with 97k its gonna cost me $1400 shipped. But i also talked to this company it's called apollo engines and they have one for $1345 shipped but they dont know the mileage, they inspect the motor, do a leak down test, steam clean the motor etc soo idk which would be a better deal, the motor from apollo motors could have 200k just because they do the tests and steam clean it doesnt make it any better right? Does the 97k motor from morads seem like a better deal ?

Damn! Just got a call from another site that sells motors, and they have a complete l67 with only 44k for $1850 shipped to my front door, right now hes gonna call back to see if the s/c comes with the motor, but everything else is complete. it comes with a 1yr warranty just like the other companys and comes with a carcheck report.
