Got this fine device to bring lower temperature air into my car's internal combustion engine Not! It's time for a fwi!

It came with this sd hood but it needs a new paint job and the edges needs to be fixed

My little pork chope, she's a basset hound/pug mix soo she's not really a puggle.

Soo the conclusion to this post is Hai's suck, fiberglass sucks and cute little dogs are awsome!

that is the worst intake ever. the cone is too small and it didnt even get rid of the restrictive part of the intake.

other than that, HAIs do not suck. its better than an FWI all day long.

i was thinking the same thing. u would be better off stuffing throttle body with cotton balls.

    +1

That intake is fail, but open cone intakes are good.

FWI are a waste of money, time, and do nothing.

I will def get something that's actually useful lol and non taken the previous owner is an idiot! I thought open cone air filters were bad isn't that why they make the inclosed boxes for them ? Soo it would be a complete waste of money if i was to go to wbody store and buy a fwi ? If soo i will take some recommendations! well i have a weed wacker that needs a new filter soo i'm all set lol.

About everyone is going to tell you to make your own fwi and point you toward the how-to that shows you how to make one, so I'll let them post it. I dunno, how much performance would you lose going from a fwi to an open cone on a stock car?

i'm pretty sure that the main difference is that the fwi will get you colder air, but the open cone that bio's talking about is a lot less restrictive. the reason the one you have is bad is because of the bend that the air has to go through to get to the throttle body. put a filter that goes straight off of the tb and it's less restrictive.

I had a ZZP PCM and it was just fine.

Same with all my friends cars.

I also got my PCM for $40 though.
