ive used seafoam in over 70 cars my personal and customer cars and never had an issue Im just guessin you had bigger problems
He probably used it when he was putting oil IN. And ran it thinking he didn't have to get rid of it until his NEXT oil change.
ahh could be never done that always dump it in oil then change makes a little sense
I've seafoamed all my cars, and some friends cars too, but I've never added any to the oil. Only in the gas and Vacuum, havent had a problem yet, only good things.
Me thinks, Spartangl decided he just wanted a project, and drained all the oil out and put in seafoam XD

... and to answer one of the orignal questions.... he reported it to the insurance company because he needed a tow. ...his inusrance company has roadside service to take broken down vehicles to service centers. The dealership service manager worked with the insurance company to check out the loss.

well the problems i had before the water could only be connected with the seafoam
Seafoam says Oil change within 100 miles
I drove maybe 20, Oil got thinned out. bearings got overheated and then Bam Block cracked engine FUBAR.
