So I was on my way to pick up my little sister from her school. Fun fun. I'm on the highway and a douche in a big new pickup flys past me at about 80 in a 50 zone. Another douch in a big work truck (maybe an F350 or so, didnt really care) and a big trailer on the back flies past at 70+ too.
Finally turn off into a 35 zone, guy in the work truck w/ trailer is next to me. Well his bumper is about level with the middle of my door, and he's starting to drift really fast into my lane. So instead of waiting to see what happens, I speed up a little to get out of the way, surely enough he got far enough in that he would've hit me, and if I would've tried to slow down, I wouldn't have been past the trailer in time and would've been hit anyway. So now, going a bit over the speed limit, I through an underpass, coming out immediately hit some ice (it's about 25F, and was above 30F most the day, so the ice is really slick), spin out, and end up in a snow bank three lanes over.
Lost part of my driver's side rocker panel, other than that, the car seems okay. Paid about 150 for the tow to pull my car out of the snow bank, and I'm really shook up. Needless to say I had to drive my car back home... what a hell of a day.
