    Agreed...what an ignorant FAK.

Overpriced BS in the FS section...called him out on that...then he obviously can't open his damned eyes to know that the SLP/SSAC/DNA/Speed Daddy SLIP FIT HEADERS that he bought at 110% DIFFERENT than the Pacesetter/OBX BOLT TOGETHER COLLECTOR design that the group buy is getting...sorry to hear...Logan (Minichopper) had to weld his and cut the crap out of them to make them fit.

Have fun...sounds like a bunch of people got pwned. That sucks because the ones the local's and a few here got in the beginning were what they were really advertising...the GOOD headers.

Congrats man, glad to see you've come a long way since asking how to remove a spark plug....

And on another note, if these don't fit like they should I will simply send them back. It does suck they aren't the ones I thought but I'm gonna hold off on the speculating until I get these on and see first hand how they work out.

You are right gtp. The only reason we are all getting these is because James didn't want everyone to have to wait for the "ssacs" to come back into stock. Not because they had fitment issues. Regaurdless we all thought we were getting "ssac KO" headers but in fact we are getting "pacesetter KO" headers which by the way are more pricey!

Too bad he wasn't smart enough to just install the front header last and remove the transmission dipstick tube and ratchet the motor forward with straps...that way he wouldn't have had to remove the rear valve cover. I'd be shocked to see if he even replies to this...after being called out he doesn't like to reply back knowing how stupid some of the things he posts are.

If anything I'd stop looking up at James for being truthful as he pulled a bait and switch on us all. The headers we will receive are probably the ebay ones with different bolts (I could be totally wrong). I think the e-mail about the new mold etc was just a bunch of you know what to "calm" people. If hes willing to change the product up on you whats to say he won't do worse? Also DNA lied to other buyers about the SSAC knock offs. Talk about terrible business strategies.

If these are however T304 stainless headers that fit for majority of everyone I will indeed thank James and David on this but until then....

Good luck with that. I wouldn't send anything back to James to be honest (at least I wouldn't unless they were so messed up or weren't headers).

Why would a business sell headers to some people in a group buy for dirt cheap like that? I think it's to get rid of the old design that doesn't fit and to start producing the SSAC's that they know everyone wants. I bet if you sent in your knockoff pacesh***ers you wouldn't receive anything back or they'd make you pay remainder to purchase the SSAC's when and if they raise the price. This is just what I think is going on, and believe me I could be wrong but I'm trying to look @ it from their point of view. Also curious as to why killa (david) hasn't been on for some time now when he was on every day up until they were purchased and shipped?

If DNA is willing to lie to their customers and use the bait and switch what else are they willing to do?

i see your point. i'm going to install these pacesetter ko's anyways. there will probably be lots of cussing i'm sure, but i'm fairly confident that i can get them to work. i just have to do my research...

I'm going to gather up what is needed, wait a bit, take em to get em examined and then when I have enough money pay someone to do it because I want them welded up nicely and installed great without using the clamps.

Sometimes though I get impatient, so we will see..

Also, I will either header wrap them or take them somewhere to get coated.

thats a good idea, i might wait a bit and just pay to have someone install them and do them properly...may be worth it in the end...i just hate paying for labor, and i enjoy getting my hands dirty

I have no welding experience and the people I know who can weld arn't sure about stainless steel headers, so I'm not risking it. If welding is needed I will put stock back on and take to a shop to have them put it on when I save up enough. If this shop I know can do headers I know they will do them for cheap as I know the manager very well.
