another noob mistake was, I purchased a hot air intake off ebay thinking it would give HP.

The write-up on making your own FWI wasn't a total mistake but sure was tacky lol...Just installed Wizaired tonite. FTW!!

Smearing bondo over rust? How could that be bad? 1st mistake is the easiest.

The first mod i bought the car was a wizaid cai, then the slp catback was the 2nd. Trying to make a n/a car fast was my biggest mistake, i lost money there.

    -wizard cai
    -plog
    -zzp d/p
    -overkill pcm

with the above mods the car ran a 15.3 @ 88

I can't wait for new times with a tune and pulley drop

    1)Buying a K&N cai for 350 dollars
2)Buying two sets of rims instead of supercharging it
3)Not spending my money on a turbo instead of all my mods
4)The only real mistake I ever made installing a mod though was trying to delete my front 02 sensor when I did my headers and full exhaust lol... Didn't work out too well....

I spent $1500 on just a 3.2 pulley, slp exhaust, FWI, and DHP pcm from PFYC. Got raped on shipping from PFYC, cut the exhaust up and went with a custom set up, bought hptuners and tune myself, and put said 3.2 pulley on a basically stock car ( luckly didn't blow up anything).
    Modded.......Yes sir

Noob mistake #1 was heading down the S/C Upgrade path.

Thankfully I came to my senses half way through the cam install. Turbo swap is now in progress.
