I will have to take a pic tomorrow it's pouring down rain here in ohio.....the output is very dim. you can actually see the hid bulb shadow in the beam when it's like 5-6 feet away from my garage door. I will try to aim them better tomorrow. The high beams are just for some country and back road driving I do....damn deer. They are a super bright beam but very scattered as they should be, being in a reflector. I also notice the bouncing when i hit a bump as well. I didn't read this entire thread but what kind of weatherstripping did you use? Did you just place it under the housing on the bumper?

Nawarkk- Did you use H3 bulbs in your projectors? My housing says H1 and now i'm seeing that a H3 bulb actually came out of it. I put a modified H1 bulb in it and it seems too long. The arc seems to be on the front side of the cut off not allowing proper reflection, and a out of focus beam. Are H3 bulbs shorter than the H1? I'd hate to buy H3 bulbs and end up with the same result.

H3's are shorter then the H1 bulbs. The projectors take an H3 bulb for the low beam and an H1 bulb for the high beam. Maybe that's why you have bad out put, is because there is an H1 bulb where an H3 bulb is supposed to be.

What would you think of putting in a H3C? Just an idea....maybe it would even be better than a H3?

Hmm.. It might be. I've never actually heard of an H3C bulb. If it's a better bulb then why not lol.

Just ordered replacement H3's. They were only 23.99 so i'll give them a try. Look up the H3C it is a very small H3 bulb. The silly thing about these capsules, is the distance between the back of the reflector in the projector and the cutoff is a very short distance. My H1's that I have in it go past the cutoffs, and produce a very insignificant beam. Due to the arc not hitting the reflector. It's not even worth me wasting my time or energy to take a picture of it. Now I have to wait another 3-4 days for my lights to finally function correctly. I bought mine off ebay from ipex motoring. Got 2 black ones! Ipex did kinda screw me on the item details claiming they were both H1 when the low is truly H3. The harness you need for running High and Low beams is called a 9007-4 relay harness. You can hardly find these harnesses on the net. Got mine from Xtreme Hids contact them and ask for Jon he is the best. He told me that they can't even sell them on the net due to the legality of the harness?

Hmm how weird?... I saw these projectors on sale when they first came out by Dash Z and they claimed that it was an H1 low beam but as the days went by was changed to a H3 low beam. I also saw the same projectors on Ebay that were claiming it was an H1 low beam. I contacted Dash Z to check with them because I had ordered an H3 HID kit separately and did not want the low beams to be H1's. They assured me and they turned out to be H3's which are a significantly smaller/shorter bulb then an H1.

Did Ipex from Ebay tell you that the projectors use an H1 low beam? Did they not include bulbs? Yea if you put an H1 in there it probably goes past the cut off which results in undesirable output. Get the H3's and I'm pretty sure you won't be disappointed.

Ipex did indeed say they were H1 and not H3. They included halogen bulbs with it. So I purchased the wrong bulb. Oh well i'm getting over it now. I do like my High Beams though. They are 55w 5000k H1's and output is unbelievable. I just hope they won't melt my lens. They shouldn't I had them on for like 20 min constant and they didn't seem to get that awful warm.

Yea I'm not gonna bother with an HID kit for the high beams. I read flipping the ballasts on and off are bad for them. Let me know how it goes when you get the H3's.

That's stupid my halo output is not that great either. And my low beam on my right side decides when it's supposed to work or not. How did you get replacements? And I got water in them and **** so stupid.

Finally got the H3's....after a week of no response from my seller. Then to top it off he sent me a 8000k and a 6000k! GRRRR! I will have to say output, cutoff and beam is literally 500% better even though I have two different colored bulbs. I did get my seller to send me a 6000k though after threatening a wrong item received claim. Gotta love ebay for that feature. I'm also thinking of taking out my high beam HID's as well. I can't seem to get the highs to kill when I go back to lows. What is a good inexpensive H1 6000k halogen?

Nice! I knew they would come out better with the right bulbs. I really don't know of any strong white H1 Halogen bulbs though. I probably will never use my high beams anyways lol. I'm glad to hear that they're better. The output is really nice on these.

    Ok Quick update:

The LED's are 194 bulbs which is cool because you can replace them with whatever.

    HOWEVER:

The LED 194's that come with the headlights are NOT 12V. I blew two of them today trying to replace my interior 194 bulbs with them. DO NOT give these bulbs 12V.
