What do you think is wrong with america?

This is an honest ? There are so many people that want to blame Obama or Wal-Mart or You get the idea right thyey simplify things down to one person and so on
And I am truely wondering when history will repeat it self and civil unrest breaks out (when it does I wanna be in the hills with my guns and And hope however it plays out i survive) Far fetched i know but this country is Failing

I am a believer that we should buy american, Suport our local economy , Suport the little guy and so forth but at the same time I cant afford to....

Since I'm an immigrant (proud to be living here for 6 years now) I have to say that this quote is right when it comes to every single nation:

"Nation amazing, only people are dicks." - J. Pilsudzki.

I happen to live in a city that was voted on some poll to be one of the worst in the country
Its not the city its definatly the people

I just honestly look at all those struggling and all the hate and all the bad in the world.

I dont know how many times I hear that its a presidents falt or blah blah blah crap.
What will it take for people to understand that it can only change when the mass majority of the us people stop being sheep...

On aol some time back there was a picture of Armed gaurds gaurding a food delivery to a market Is that truely how bad it is getting in this country
I understand for many people who immigrated here it may not seem all that bad but
We as a country shouldnt see issues like that. And the way its going it wont be any better for a very long time

We have become dependent on goods from to many other countries
We need to become self suffiient as a country Oil Food Products and so on and that cant happen when we can barely afford what we need on average

The more i think about this crap the more i wish I could just Ignore it and live dumb

It's everything in a whole. Not one or the other. When you allow a lot of damaging situations to pile up, you create a disaster. We as a country have learned to thrive off of cheap foreign goods and we settle for cheaper wages and give too much power to rich in this country. Then the rich corporations get pissed when we want paid more, so they ship the manufacturing overseas. We lose good jobs, then have to take low paying jobs to buy cheap junk that the Chinese make that WE should still be making. Free trade is BS. Lowers everyone's standard of living in the U.S. This is a long, drawn out conversation. To make a long story short...... The U.S. citizens need to grow some balls and demand a cap on trade. Wal-Mart workers need to say "I've had enough of you bastards making tens of billions of dollars a year, while I make minimum wage. Let's vote UNION and BARGAIN for decent wages and benefits." Workers can't be greedy like the autoworkers were and demand sky high wages. You have to ORGANIZE a UNION and be FAIR. Meet in the middle, don't get greedy. My Union, International Union of Operating Engineers Local #18 bargains on a fair days pay for a fair days work. We sacrifice raises in our pay every year to offset the cost of health insurance, but we don't b**ch. It's all about compromise. If we get greedy, they go under or kick us out, if we meet common ground, we all come out ahead. If you have no union, you have no say or input. If you have a union and you get greedy, you lose. It's all a big game. There is too much of a seperation of wealth in our country. Those who aren't union, need to come together and say enough is enough. Not all companies can afford to pay more to their workers in these times, but the ones that can, SHOULD. This isn't a transfer of wealth, it's just being FAIR. If I was dumb enough to work for Wal-Mart for $7.15(min wage in Ohio) that's my own fault if I didn't say, "look, we're worth $8.50 with decent raises to this company and should have a PENSION plan so we can retire", then I would just break my back and live off of the government if I didn't have the balls to speak up. Wait, if you mention the word UNION as a wal-mart employee, you get fired.......Why's that?

This is the B.S. that got us all here. Let the company make the call. F that, lets all make the call!

One of the best union sayings of all......

    "UNITED WE'RE ONE.....DIVIDED WE'RE DONE"

It's not Obama, its not taxes, it's not the foreign countries, its US!

I know aobut unions from where I come from and deal with them here, I will not state my opinion on them as I do not want open a can of worms. Now I do believe it is the people not the nation, land has no voice. As a human race (in some form or other) we ***** about anything and everything and place blame on something or someone but when it comes to analizing ourselves everything is fine nooooo prob with "me". Not sure how the saying goes but something like this, you want someone (or world) to change then start by changing yourself

My op, is that we take God outta our schools and percecute because someone believes in God. Now God is out but people call on him when things are bad. No morales at all. No value is placed on life..Look around now, u can't say a prayer to Jesus, but allah(their version), or budda is permissable. everything has "rights".."i can burn the flag if i want too"...too much politically correct crap, everyone gets there feelings hurt, gov. knows what s good for u-better than u do.. i say 2 term limit for any "held office in gov"..period
