We as a country have learned to thrive off of cheap foreign goods and we settle for cheaper wages and give too much power to rich in this country. Then the rich corporations get pissed when we want paid more, so they ship the manufacturing overseas. We lose good jobs, then have to take low paying jobs to buy cheap junk that the Chinese make that WE should still be making. Free trade is BS. Lowers everyone's standard of living in the U.S. This is a long, drawn out conversation. To make a long story short...... The U.S. citizens need to grow some balls and demand a cap on trade. Wal-Mart workers need to say "I've had enough of you bastards making tens of billions of dollars a year, while I make minimum wage. Let's vote UNION and BARGAIN for decent wages and benefits." Workers can't be greedy like the autoworkers were and demand sky high wages. You have to ORGANIZE a UNION and be FAIR. Meet in the middle, don't get greedy. My Union, International Union of Operating Engineers Local #18 bargains on a fair days pay for a fair days work. We sacrifice raises in our pay every year to offset the cost of health insurance, but we don't b**ch. It's all about compromise. If we get greedy, they go under or kick us out, if we meet common ground, we all come out ahead. If you have no union, you have no say or input. If you have a union and you get greedy, you lose. It's all a big game. There is too much of a seperation of wealth in our country. Those who aren't union, need to come together and say enough is enough. Not all companies can afford to pay more to their workers in these times, but the ones that can, SHOULD. This isn't a transfer of wealth, it's just being FAIR. If I was dumb enough to work for Wal-Mart for $7.15(min wage in Ohio) that's my own fault if I didn't say, "look, we're worth $8.50 with decent raises to this company and should have a PENSION plan so we can retire", then I would just break my back and live off of the government if I didn't have the balls to speak up. Wait, if you mention the word UNION as a wal-mart employee, you get fired.......Why's that?

This is the B.S. that got us all here. Let the company make the call. F that, lets all make the call!

One of the best union sayings of all......

    "UNITED WE'RE ONE.....DIVIDED WE'RE DONE"

It's not Obama, its not taxes, it's not the foreign countries, its US!
