right now im a full time PCA ( Personal Care Assistant). I work with my 7 y/o cousin. my job entails lifting and transfering him from say his powerchair to his bed or other places. i also tent to his personal hygene, as well as preparing and helping him eat his food/ drinks. the most challenging part of the job is trying to find ways for him to seamlessly play with his able-bodied friends. but most of the time i just play video games and watch cartoons with him. its a pretty good gig.
on the weekends i work at my uncles store. there i design and print custom tee shirts, sweatshirts.. well basicly anything cotton. I work with customers on a design they like, which is usually 100% made by me. then once thats done i play cashier and ring them up. once they leave i prepare the media and set the printer to print the design from our software.
soon i will be heading back to school for graphic design. im hoping to ultimately come out and be an independant designer that companys and organizations will come to when they want a new design for a logo or advertising campaign. im hoping to start on an associates degree then find work within a design company, who will then pay for me to go back to school and further my edumacation.
One of my best friends from high school was going to SCSU for finance or something like that, he just switched to personal training, I know he was in some business classes last semester.
I am going to North Dakota State University majoring in Natural Resource Management with a minor in Range science. Funny thing is that I actually turned down a full tuition scholarship to wyotech back in high school, I sometimes wonder if that was the right choice.
