Wait till you get an STI. No point spending a nice chunk of change on tires and wheels that you will only have for under a year.

Yup my buddies tranny took a dump with exactly those things. Also he has stock wheels.

thats what i thought. everyone says the 6 speed just doesnt break, but im not sure i believe it. i would love to spend the money to have the STI, but i keep thinking i can make a WRX faster than it for much cheaper. however, id still have that crappy 5 speed.

I would save for the STI.

honestly i dont think anyone around here realizes how to tuck wide, low offset wheels. negative camber does NOT make your tires wear unevenly.

this is what i want my car to look like:

i gotta go with the 6-spokes on this one. as for the STI or the WRX, you gotta save for the STI. so that would probably influence my decision. either one works though. you really couldn't go wrong.

Cmon Bio tell me you cant do boltons!?!?! dont spend the money on the 2.5 buy a WRX their cheaper and do some research on Dsport or pick up one of their magazines and check out their project WRX they have it will spank a STi and performance per dollar still cost less than the STi. I like that pic but Id kill to have a white on white WRX with upgraded turbo and some other boltons minus the attention whore wing. I read one of your recent post some where that you said the lack of power is killing you. Fix the power problems 1st by getting a WRX and boltons not wheels or an STi both seem like a waste to me.

I mean, I love the idea behind this car.

But I just don't get the shape of it.

Look at its silhouette. Its like a mid 90's econobox with a hood scoop and a massive wing.

Take the wing off go drive one and then tell me you wouldnt want one! To quote the owner of a 500awhp Sti around where I live "All wheel drive burnouts are for heros!" Not to mention his car rocks hoosiers on all 4 and studded snowtires in the winter for ice races.

Thats the part I love about it. The performance. Just not a true looker IMO.

i did like those from the get go. they were going to be my first choice. you know how tits those would look in 19s? AH!

edit: they come in 19x8.5" with a +45mm offset. that is PERFECT.

    but, what about these:

those go up to 19x9.5" with +45mm offset, even BETTER! HUGE WHEELS! they are also cheap.
