[QUOTE=up in boost;294517]Yeah will see. I already ran a 12.3 with the neon and i have a better set up now. Hoping for low 11's. Waiting on the track to open....

Is there a lot needed to get the GTP into the 11's?

ive seen trackslips with S/C setups in the 11's... not many though. Pretty sure a gtp will get in the 11's cheaper than a neon will.

Thats just with supporting mods and big turbo kit with stock motor/head/tranny......

TOO bad the timeslip data base doesnt show the mods on each run

SRT4 will go faster for cheaper (parts wise)

cost for car vs car is way different.

800+ on a stock block without much issues. so long as your tune is in check these motors will take anything you throw at them.

making any more than 350 or so to the wheels is difficult to do without a turbo. the m90 setups usually peak out in the 330-350 area, even with heads/cam/intercooler/etc.

Are many people changing the S/C set up for a turbo set up?
    What Venders sell these?

And 800 from a stock motor? does it have forged pistons?

800 from a stock crank and block....so yes, forged pistons. if you want to go turbo and haven't bought a car yet, get a GT not a GTP. higher compression=more hp/boost. and i hate seeing M90s with block off plates, not everyone can have a supercharger

no, the stock pistons are not forged. they are just hardened. they chip easily when making too much heat. the top ring likes to close up and then lop off a piece of the piston in about the 1:00 -3:00 area. treat your car nicely and this wont happen. keep your tune in check and it definitely wont.
