I've been doing good. The GP handles alot better than what some think. With a good tire it helps a lot. I was running 245/40/18's on mine and she stuck to the road great. Could take almost 90 degree turns at 65. With some good springs and sway bars it'll be even better.
Yeah, that turbo is going to be sick. I wanted to take the wifes GT and go turbo, but she wants to trade it in for something else. Wish I could keep it, but it's already going to be hard moving all the rides know every few years.
Seen one at a car show on time. Dang thing was awsome. Only way you could tell it had a small block was the dual carbs sticking out the hood. Had a high rise intake on it. If it won't for that, it would have been a heck of a sleeper.
red.... who is this? DA will have a problem soon and ask for help......i say we that have bben here a little while put the DA's in their place, another forum.
My thoughts exactly. These little punks should take a look at ones post count and realize how much help someone could be before they start talking about stuff they have no clue over. Gotta give respect to get it, but I guess in this time and day, none of that matters. It's just how much sh*! you can talk and not back it up. Good looking out fellas. IT's members like you all that does make me want to stay.
thanks, i was here for 6 months before i started even posting, i spent my time reading old threads. good to have u back, your knowledge/experience is what drives others to do things. now, aren't u more inspired to go out and put a turbo kit on my car? lol
Thank You for being a great member here. lol!!!!! I was at one point, but I like playing on curves to much now. Prolly just do a few engine mods and call it quits on that. I do have a old 69 bettle that was my dads that's all hopped up. Thinking of a turbo for that and making a nice street/strip ride.
welcome back badaz..hoping to chat with you some time.. i was on the forum before under a different name and you gave me some great advice on how to start modding my gtp.
ps the beetle idea.. awesome
i also got a buddy with, i guess a late 60's, or very early 70's beetle, lowered, chrome goodies and porsche style whhels. i have to say, it would be fun as heck ....
The one I have is pretty unique. The windsheild has been chopped to 6" so it rolls down from a factory size rear window to that. Gives it a nice hotrod look. Wide Cali fenders with some fat tires in the back and a little smaller in the front. I'tt pull the front wheels up about 2 ft.
