rocafella, your car looks sweet to me, i'll trade. new 1st mod would be a lower mileage gt/gtp,,,,,,,my wife will need a new dd=03-04 cobra. back to the topic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i'm the worst at getting off topic, sorry
first mod should have been a turbo.
After driving my car around today a bit Im actually very pleased with where its at...
I think when the time is right i may build another gp mainly because i know the engine inside and out But i will build it for speed and only speed Gut the interior no system in it no ac and so on make it a weekend track car maybe try motox
I have a chance this time to do things different still going to go with rockers on this motor and then have a l32 built up to go in about a year.
would of bought a 40th anniversary. i love the color on those! or a supercharged monte.
Have plenty of down time have a extra vehicle. wife is driving the charger and Im driving the civic or tahoe. Just need guidance, been doing alot of research on turbo setups.. I have a about 9 months on my timeline probably going to start putting everything together right before Branson '10. Just need the guidance and the moral support while building but thats why I have you guys.
Turbo is what i would like to do later on but im a little ify i guess i know its just another engine build but turbos and tuning and all that make me a little nervous lol
This is going to get me flamed, but the turbo knowledge here is very VERY minimal, come over to clubGP and reap the benefits of their knowledge. I am lucky enough to have a guy who lives near me who is a turbo wiz with the GP and fiero's. The atmosphere here is better but the knowledge over there is phenomenal. I learned more in a week there than I would have in two months here.
Why? Just read up on some information learn to read CM's pick the turbo that is right for you and you can even piece together a set that is cheaper than any kit with enough time to collect everything. Tuning shouldn't be to hard if you already know how to do it.
:burnrubber0:I'm very interested in this turbo build you speak of^^, I would also like to say thank you to all of those who have participated. I'll keep a lookout and learn from your mistakes :th_winking: Still curious what all i would need to see 13's i'm sure a set of drag radials would knock me down to low 14's already.
