Soo i bought the stage 2 alternator voltage booster from zzp, and i installed it, and it gave my car 15.60 volts, but then my dic light kept blinking and flipping out soo i took it out before something would happen to it. Well i should of just bought the stage 1 and called it good. The stage 2 kit is for race applications only it said, idiot me. So that was a waste of money since i cant take it back.

I bought a stage 1 and converted it to a stage 2. I had the same D.I.C. blinking issue but it only happened when it was cold or first started up, when the output voltages were higher. I lived with it for a while but finally took it out to revert it back to a stage 1.

Can you open it put and remove one of the diodes? I assume the stage 1 has 1 doide and the stage 2 had a second in series. I've had a stge 1 for a long time and have had no issues.

I would have made my own, but I like everything nice neat and quickly reversible. Seemed to be well worth buying the kit with connectors and things looking as stock as possible.

Ryan, if you arent comfortable removing or bypassing one of the diodes I'm sure someone local would help you out. Heck I'd fix it for you, but by the time you shipped it, you could almost buy a new stage 1.
