    SSAC's are the cheapest, 350 shipped is quite a deal considering the cost of a PLOG and a downpipe.

    That thread is a little oddly written. Basically, you have to do the mods listed above where it mentions pulley drop to 100% safely drop to that size pulley.

    yeah and one of them is porting the blower housing, i doubt you need to port the blower before you run a smaller pulley.

    i ported my s/c housing when i did my intake gaskets, it was off so why not? i already had aluminum cutter bits in various sizes and shpes. just search on the forums and internet about the shape and do not touch the silencer ports at all.(maybe seal them if anything, but thats preference issue)...check the inlet too and make sure the t.b. doesn't underhang the inlet. u can find some ebay headers for a good price, just be patient if the mod bug isn't killin u.

    Typically DP + PLOG, colder plugs, 180* T-stat, tune, intake then a 3.4 pulley.

    Whats better is to port the blower, get headers and then have a killer 3.4 setup because you can then run more timing.

    OR you could try to run a smaller pulley.

    Both = more power.
