Luk Clutches has a plant in my city, and they used to employ people to "test" there clutches in real world scenerios. Basically (since they made ALL of gm's performance clutches) you got to drive cars like new vette's, maros, firebirds, vipers, some models of mustang's and a few others all day long. Shift as hard as you can, as fast as you can. Slip the clutch, dump the clutch...you get the idea. They would let them tear up the local airport for about 2 hours each day and the rest was on there small test course and on public roads. For some reason they did away with this and now its all computer testing
