Comp G was always supercharged, tap-shift, and had special badges.
Should lock that guy up. Flipping cars used to mean buying grandma mobiles with blown head gaskets or some dumb kid who can't afford a mechanic, doing the repairs for cost, and then selling the fixed car at market price. These people nowadays aren't flippers, they're inflators.
I drove an hour and a half to look at an 04 Comp G for $2600. I give the guy full price, he hands it back and says the guy on his phone is on his way and will pay $300 extra to hold the car. I see that same exact car- year, make/model, color, comp g, mileage, everything- for $5000 2 days later on Craigslist. I called the guy and he admitted he didn't touch it, he's just "selling it for a friend."
Then my buddy sells his truck for 6000 and sees it on Craigslist by the end of the week for 8000. At least that dude apologized when he called and told him that floating the title is illegal and he's a lying piece of !#&$.
If you didn't fix anything, and you didn't change the oil, and you know nothing about the maintenance history, don't lie and say you do. That's a really dirty life to live.
It's pretty sad, but on a good note the fuel pump went on that ssei, he paid me 200 to come put a pump in a new CV axle and change oil. I told him he would be lucky to see 1500 for it, and since he is only 600 or so into it he would be making a ton of money. The car is now back on cl for 6k listing the repairs I performed. So I guess I'll just keep flagging them as I see them. I "flip" cars, I buy cheap I perform the major repairs and basic maintenance and if I can make a couple hundred bucks I'm ecstatic, and if I take a hit then so be it. In MN you can be jailed for title jumping and this dude will get his eventually.

Saw this ricer driving on the Dan Ryan in Chicago. Hard to see in the pic but all 3 visible wheels are different! LOL
Front wheel in yellow is steel, back white is an actual chrome rim, back red passenger is the spare... couldn't see front passenger. Hell, maybe he had Fred Flinstone's wheel up there, I don't know. And i-Vtech plastered all over the sides. Never seen a car with all different wheels, ever. And it wasn't a junker at all. FAIL
Risked my life and and that of others, taking this pic for your entertainment! hahahaha
