A Couple New Land Rover Pics... And Some Repelling.

Well, had to go through the trouble of repelling to get down there to take the pics anyways. Fun stuff though none the less.

Repel FTW. Goes down a little further than you can see in the pictures, into a mostly dried out creek and then elevates back up to where I was taking them. No matter how minor it may be though. Ground is much too flat around here so any chance I get is a win.

Thanks, was only banned for a few days though. No loss on my part. I'm sure it won't be long until Geddy shoves some more sand up his vagina though.

You need to go east or west and do some taller stuff! I have not been rock climbing or repelling in a few years, but it is amazing. That is a really wide sling...who makes that?

Yeah I know, this forums admins and mods have always had a problem with fisting sand up their vagina though. Minus a few of them.

Yeah we do, though about the tallest crap you can find in Texas (...and get to) is this in the picture below, minus going along the Mexican border, and even then I'm not quite sure how much you can get to. Everything in Texas is pretty well owned by someone, and if it is they have it fenced off and if it's not, the state doesn't want you doing anything with it.

The sling is just a custom job. Simple but extremely durable.

Awesome pics and i love the scenery! Much cooler then the trails we have around here to take the jeep out on, you either get mud, or crazy rocks, nothing like that!

Thanks, this place is actually a 'new' discovery of ours. Miles of land and trails to drive on though, and a rather odd variety of terrain, from mesquite everywhere and creeks like in most of those pics to open grassy fields with some slight slops and steep hills that can be driven on.

Other than this though, this area are really sucks. lol Guess we can't complain too much though because a 'short' drive in different directions can get you to this..

Iv been repelling twice and loved it!!! Once was with my school and the other was just some friends. I would love to get gear and go when I wanted too! Nice pictures!

To bad that sand has a name...........Street(I take the blue pills)Wolf. My beef with him was simple. It wasnt even personal, but he treated everyone like crap, sure some might deserve a little abuse, but his idea of abuse is simply over the top.

He cried and pouted because someone else took his sticker idea and made it happen. So what does CryWolf do? Cries and pitches a tantrum and then comes back and berates everyone and then tries to get everyone to go to his "Landrover site" *snickers* And then all of a sudden he comes back out of the blue and starts his crap up again with everyone offering NO REAL value to the forum, other than for his version of shock value. ie Everyone is gay, or saying that something is gay, or no one is as godly as him, so on and so forth.

Yeah you're right.........I need to get that sand out of my stuff. Oh wait..........Rocket did this time around
