1996 Chevy Suburban 1500...parents gave it to me when I started driving in High School (December 2002). I still have it and use it for parts hauling or towing. 205k miles and still going strong.
Totaled it back in March 2008. Someone ran a red light and I t-boned them at 50+. That Civic could have fit in the back of my truck.
Resurrected using a junkyard truck for body parts and some spray paint.
The first car I actually bought and owned myself...1985 El Camino SS. I ended up taking the stock 305 and putting in a LS1 out of wrecked a '99 Trans Am. Ran it for about 2 hours before the car got stolen from my driveway. My user name is in honor of that car...RIP.
After the El Camino, I had to find something cheap to drive around. A friend sold me this for $200. I drove it for 2 years. I never did an oil change, just kept it topped off. I ended up rolling it a total of five times, came to rest on it's wheels, drove it home, continued to drive it for a month, and donated it to charity for a $500 tax deduction.
This beauty is a 2004 Mazda3. When I got it had a blown motor (bent rod). It ran, but like ****. I swapped out the engine, tranny and computer for a 2007 MazdaSpeed3 turbo'd motor, 6-speed and computer. Little f**ker was quick, but I desired more power.
Five months after doing the engine swap in the Mazda, I bought a 2000 Trans Am WS6 as a toy.
Engine bay after the H/C/I swap...estimated at 450rwhp. Currently under the knife getting the Nitrous Kit installed and working. I'll have it on the dyno for a tune after Christmas...hopefully.
Night shot with the Ram Air Lights on.
When my brother graduated High School, he wanted a car, but my parents didn't want to get him a car that was "unreliable", so they asked me if I would sell him the Mazda. I told him he would have to wait till I found a replacement daily driver. Took me only a month before I found this GTP only a couple hours away. I bought it, drove it home on the Trans Am tags, and sold the Mazda to my brother the night. This was back in June of this year.
New Hood put on in September:
