And yet almost all of the engine fires I have seen on these cars the front plug wire retainer looks fine.... I thought the fuel line quick connect o-rings was the problem? Ohh well it only took them 200K cases to think there is a problem, and now that the cars are between 11 and 5 years old who cares? Valve cover gaskets leak as low as 30K miles and surely all of these cars are past that mark. So if anyone has already paid to replace a valve cover gasket are they going to get reimbursed? I highly doubt it, and then after they do cover cars that get a valve cover gasket replacement and the car still catches on fire then what? OHhhhhh yeah lets fix the original problem causing this!
