    My mom has a GXP that needs tires. What i/they were wondering is what are good all around tires for this car of what would be better rim tire combo to give a better ride then the low pros

    The best thing is supposed to be factory spec. according to Pontiac. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A, 255/45-18 front, 225/50-18 rear.

    You can't go with smaller wheels because of the disc brakes...GXP factory wheels are perfect for all of the clearance issues.

    Is there anything better then the Bridgestones? Something that gives a better ride?

    I'm running Toyo Proxes4 right now and they are pretty nice. Anything you find will be a performance tire.

    those potenzas are going to suck in the winter. those are summer tires.

    i have some potenzas on my subbie that im going to have to switch out for winter tires because otherwise ill have no traction, even with AWD.

    you can put on snow tires for the winter time it will make a world of difference or try Michelin pilot sport all season

    Nah, put some studs in yer tires & destroy the roads. lol
    OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.
