Sorry i should of just updated it. Well last night i was driving home and this guy in a truck was on my tail and when he tryed to pass i just gunned my car soo he couldnt pass. The guy must of been mad enough to turn me in. And it kind of sucks to have such an easy plate to remember (EAT TAR). Well this morning the cop came to my house and ask me if i was driving on the road tht it happend on at 7 and i said yes and he said tht a guy was trying to pass and that i went faster, well i just told him my car was messed up and im gonna fix it today, but my car works fine. So he said ohh ok, then he said btw that guy was a U.S. marshal off duty.

That REALLY sucks. Kinda funny though. Of all the times, all the places, of all the people sorta thing.

Best practice just to let people go ahead and pass, for multiple reasons.

My little brother got burned up in a gas fire years ago. Time was very limited. I was a teenager back then and although a bad decision I thought it would be faster If I drove him to the firehouse. I came up quickly behind a truck and everytime I tried to pass this jerk would speed up so I couldn't pass.

Yea that is, if i knew someone was in trouble i would let them pass. But im a asshole. One night i was dring my car with my friend on a main road and this guy was trying to pass me cause my friend was like dude slow down to like 35 in a 50 so we did and everytime he would try to pass but couldnt do it, he tryed a few times cause he had to follow me for like 35 miles. And another time i did it at night and this car was on my ass and it tryed to pass me but i gunned it and the car got right beside me and when i looked over it was like a black '70 nova and you could hear the loud ass v8 roar and it sounded nice but he couldnt pass me. Haha everybody always puts there highbeams on when they can't pass me but it doesnt bother me a bit cause i have the auto dim rear view mirror :-) I kno I kno im a little asshole and im the type that makes people turn to road rage. Im sorry.

My post wasn't mean to bash, however, once the OP reply showed a pattern, he asked for the other strong opinions. The only person that believes that kind of behavior is cool is the one doing it. I'm just glad there aren't that many with lack of driving experience or even worse lack of common sense. Experience can be gained and processsed, common sense seems to be either you have it or you don't. I'm going out on a limb and say, in this case it's just a lack of experience and as time goes by, knowledge with be gained and applied.

After spending 14 years on the road as a field tech, averaging 72,000 miles a year, I've seen my share of horrific accidents caused by poor judgement. This makes me sad and angry at the same time.

Hey this should be a lesson for me, if my fellow members are telling me this is stupid and ignorent then I should listen to them. Well I going to quit doing it specialy having such an easy plate. Speeking of plates since mine says EAT TAR right now it should be EAT SLUSH, cause it's been a tropical storm up here in maine for two days straight. But again i realize that my actions will reflect my driving.
