I love RC cars also. I had to quit that hobby as I was going broke with it. I had a T-Maxx that I had $3500 in! It finally came to the point of ridiculous and I cut my losses, sold it, and never got back into another one.

I used to be into R/C's too. I had a full race-ready RC10GT setup and a Monster GT. Loved both trucks to death but sold both of them since I didn't have enough space/time to enjoy them at college.

My only real hobby outside of cars is weightlifting/training. SO addicted.

I love the thread topic, this was a nice idea for other members to get to know other members.

Well my main hobby is my car, and of course other peoples cars. Just have always had a passion for cars.

Lately my current hobby has been house work/repair. I bought my first house on my own in 2005 for $58K. 1100sf. in a 1/2 acre lot. The house was built in 1954, the last owner "worked" on the house, but did not know what they were doing. Plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic stuff are all in turmoil. Working one room at a time, replacing and updating whats needed as I go. I'll just say, as I get into it more, I'm not surprised anymore by what I find. LOL

The $180.00 I paid for a home inspection was a joke. Lesson learned, next home I buy, I am doing the home inspection myself. or at least walk around with him and pointing out stuff he misses or over looks. I walked around with him for this house, but I was new to the process and not knowing what to really look for.

Before I bought my house, or started college, I was into bicycles. I still am, but just don't have the free time to enjoy that hobby.

I was racing BMX bicycles since I was 15, have a room full of trophy's and plaques too. I won about every national I went to at least once. The only two nationals I could never win was Gold Cup, and Race of Champions. I could qualify to go, and make it to the main event where I was guaranteed a trophy, but could never place anything better than I think a 2nd or a 3rd place. Either I would get crashed, or get slowed down by stupid riders. I'll get back into it, and hopefully, win one of those nationals some day, thats all I want is to win there at least once. I kept my bike though...wont give it up for anything:

My other bike I like to ride and get dirty, jump, and just try to break is my dual slalom bike:

8" front disk brake, 6" rear disk brake, 5" of front fork travel, 24X2.0 tires, and only 16 speeds too.

Those are my pleasures in life I try to enjoy.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, drinking champagn...
    wait. that's not me.
Hunting, Fishing, Going fast on ANYTHING, Biking, Mudding, Snow Drifting, Getting COVERED in motor oil, paintball, airsoft, going for long runs with the Marines, knives, ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Go-karts, Horseback riding, Spending ridiculous amounts of money on stuff I don't need (like Oakleys), Going to Concerts, playing guitar, saxophone, drums, and bass, traveling, being a pyromaniac, stealing the hubcaps off of my friend's ****ty taurus wagon, messing with telemarketers, laughing at people who look like idiots when they play Dance Dance Revolution, reading motor trend and car craft, If you've actually read to here, you have no life, working on my friends cars, taking autoshop classes, going to Wal-mart at 3 A.M., surfing (when I can), etc, etc.

    Good enough?
    Signatures suck!

I have an electric with about $1200 in it right now. But it's also an eletric car that tops out at 60 mph.. not too many of those running around. If you ever get back into it let me know, I know a few people selling gas cars(my brother has a modded t maxx that he will be lettin go for around $300) but the electric market is really on the rise with the brushless motors. Get a 7700 brushless and a 2 cell lipo battery you can look at around 80 mph. fun times fun times.
