Lucky, I've wanted a boat or jetski for a few years now but every time I look into it I just can't afford it unfortunately.
Haha, wow, even boats have better headlights than my car :p

I hope you know I was referring to something like this. :th_jester:

I would love to get an old merc and build a small block from the ground up for it. :th_king-normal:
You can tell things aren't exactly peachy when the thread of what you dislike most is longer than the thread on what you like most about the GP :p.
I wish they came with a manual transmission
the fact that i had $13,000 and i spent it on a fwd heavy ass car that looks like a drug dealer would drive i could of got a badass mustang or a truck or a jeep but my parents just had to get this pos
Badass mustang? Unless you speak of an 03-04+ Cobra this seems like an oxymoron.
Just saying.
And besides, the drug dealer look is "in" these days :th_shakinghead1:
you should probably jump off a bridge....
the only thing i hate about my gp is that the interior replicates a sunfire's....and feels the same too haha.....other than that i love how easy it is to work on most jobs are DIY if you possess the resources...and even tho the cradle had to be dropped sometimes its not so bad...
Dislikes
1) torque converter unlocking / locking repeatedly
2) Headlights looking aged @ 3-4 years old
3) hptuners not directly supporting a 2006 gp
4) lack of 2-3 inches of extra cable for the climate controls to be lowered into the bottom slot where the storage cubby i will never use is so i can mount dual aeroforces where the climate controls currently sit...
5) shiny dash that reflects into the windshield sometimes
6) giant side mirrors
7) rear plate mount leaving the bottom of the plate unsecured just resting against rubber.
Other thoughts
A manual trans would be nice, but the weight / traction / power would result in alot of broken components or alot of components out of the production cost for the vehicle.
Handles good enough for me, but im used to man handling a 91-96 olds.
I am working on my heated seat, not seats, meaning the passenger side too as we all know! How dumb is that!
Anyway, mine does not work and I am still trouble shooting it. I hate the fact that the heating elements are integral to the seat cushions!
Again, don't think of service and longer term ownership!
I hate:
Two way taped side skirts,
Limiter at 108 :(
Leaking Sunroof
Having to take out the whole back seat to access the 6x9's and third brake
My most hated thing is how the side skirts go up and then down instead of being straight. I'm in car design so the flow of graphics is key to me. Having it go up and then down for no reason is dumb

How it's not straight makes me mad lol
i could of got a fast red mustang gt with 40,000miles same as my car when i bought it and it had way more power and alot of work for $7500 then i could of spent the rest of the $13,000 on performance parts and easily had the fastest and nices car in my school parking lot and thats alot of props... and girls
and have it blow up the week after you finished building it.....i bet those neon lights in your bumper pull alot of women....:th_biggrin2: you must be a ladies man... if you cant get props and women unless you have a nice/fast car then you have bigger problems then owning a gp ...
one problem, its a mustang
there the cheapest and slowest sports coupe, and the back seat lol they should just take that out
but the grand prix................
1. wish it had a deeper trunk as in lower.
2. a volt gauge would be nice.
3. idk really........ could have made the sunroof controls stronger
the hit in the rear that I did not discover until after I took her home form signing the papers at the dealership. Don't get me wrong, fixed perfect but I KNOW there was a hit at some point in it's life time.
im not saying if i had a mustang alone it would bring me girls im just saying it would turn heads alot easyer and there deff fast maybe not as fast as the gto or camero but i grew up around them and i think there nice cars
Well, I'd much rather have a sleeper rather than a car that looks fast and isn't.
Anyway, I don't know if this is just me but what about the magical dimmer knob under your light switch? I mean, who really wants their backlighting dimmed anyway? Then when you haven't touched it the whole time you've been in the car (when the maplights etc. are off), when you get out and go to lock your car the interior lights don't go off. Lo and behold, it's that damn knob that switched on. I mean, wtf?
Cupholders suck! I go to Wendys and get a bucket of Coke, I expect it to fit in the cupholder. But no its designed for a can of pop. :th_angry2:
