But i dont want to get rid of the gtp after all the work ive done to it. An in order to have the subie the gtp would have to go.

It is pretty ugly. Only in the recent model years has Subaru been producing good looking cars, IMO.

These 2 styles are the best gen's imo, Subaru went downhill after the bug-eyed ones. You could do a jdm Ej20/5 swap in that rs, that pretty popular and bad ass but it's gonna run you a decent amount of $$.

No offense saberwings, but I think your style ruined the Suburu's image.

To each his own. I think the second Subaru in the above picture looks like a crappy 80's Corrolla. The first one (bug eyes as they're known) are quite possibly some of the ugliest cars I've ever seen. Subaru finally got it right with the newer Impreza's. Sleek, just like their performance.

Here's a comparison shot, showing mine next to an 06-07 owned by a guy I work with.

I don't understand how anyone could prefer the looks of the older ones.

And how could it ruin the image when you've got people like Ken Block representin'.

I would take the silver one over yours.

And I'm not trying to insult your car, but the back of the hatch looks HORRIBLE, it looks like a ricer didn't know how to install taillights correctly.

Like you said, to each their own.

Idk why but ive always loved the style of a 2.5 rs an right now i wouldnt care too much about how fast it is i just want 5spd allwheel drive. If i wanted speed id swap the engine later when i have money. As far as all the rest of the subies on the page theyre all pretty sexy. I like almost every gen esp the older ones.As far as the hatches i didnt like them at first but after seeing a few with some stuff done to them around here in the past couple months they have started to grow on me aswell. Im a huge subie fan i love the boxer sound and their styling and the modability they come with and not to mention the reliability! I would love to own one but unfortunately right now i dont think its a possibility.

A friend of my brother-in-law's has a new one same color as Sabre's - we were out driving around and pulled up to a light and a guy (aka douchecanoe) in a 350Z pulls up beside and says "Nice Focus" with this cute little grin...dude had a beautiful pearl white car - but he didn't deserve it. He did, however; deserve the "O" face he had when he heard the BOV (modified) and then left him sitting at green.

    Asshats.

I say this if ya like the Subaru go get it, but don't sell the Grand Prix. The Pontiac Brand is no longer being produced and your GP will go up in value as time goes on. If you keep your GP for another five years it will be worth more than it ever was new.
