THE ONLY reason I thought the Aeroforce deal might be legit, is sometimes when you sign up as a vendor, you can get big discounts on your first order, thought MAYBE this was the case, I know we have even recv'd free stuff from a few co's when we started selling thier product (granted they were supposed to be used as in-store demos)

Its one thing when a few people from a forum file complaints with the police But when a Company Goes after a person for fraud Things usually happen
yeah paypal is no doubt just getting them resolved becuase of the inflow of them... remember its not just this site that was affected.. sooo get enough people complaining about one person, the company takes charge and goes after em
Officially paypal isn't supposed to be involved until the dispute is escalated to a claim and I was initially thinking that TDC was finally doing refunds but after hearing that someone called paypal and let them know along with the flood of disputes they are getting I'm now thinking it is most likely paypal's doing after all. They are probably going to very quickly decide any disputes with TDC in favor of the buyer just to speed the process up. Unfortunately that means I can't breathe a sigh of relief yet. Paypal may have cleared a refund but I don't know if that means that amount of money is in his account. We will have to wait and see until the actual money appears. If TDC was issuing the refunds, then we'd know he has the funds to do it. Not out of the woods yet.Quote:

Yes, IF they want to. Obviously paypal doesn't want to eat the loss on this. The only time paypal guarantees refunds (that I know of) is for ebay transactions and that is only a recent development. When you deal outside of ebay paypal won't cover it. They are a business, and frankly don't care too much that a few people got screwed in these amounts. Paypal has only agreed to refund as much as his account will allow. I really don't expect them to do any more than that. Google paypal disputes and you'll find plenty of stories of people who won claims but got a fraction of the amount back because the seller's account was depleted. I'd like to think paypal is going to help us out but I doubt they'll do any more than they do for the rest of their customers.Quote:

Im pretty sure he is the one issuing the refunds. If you go back in the thread all the refunds started showing up after Liquifire's post on how to contact the police. Im sure TDC has been reading this thread the whole time and figured he'd better start making this right. Glad to see you guys are getting your money back.
so is nvsridez the only one to hear from Parker lately, or to actually get a refund(money in your account) from Parker or is he actually issuing all of the refunds. I will believe he is doing the right thing when he pays off all people involved including the $1200 he owed to one individual, or starts getting people the product that they ordered(some of them have been waiting one month or more) I hope that this turns out well for all involved, well at least as well as it can.
