Overall, I think he said lot more good than bad. There are still a lot of details to be worked out, and I think he was overoptimistic about the savings from reducing inefficiency. We'll see what Congress does in the next few weeks.

I was, more than anything, sorely disappointed with the Republican response. I'd like to see a truly bipartisan bill, but the utter failure of the Republican party to compromise makes that unlikely.
