    yep... the 3800 will last forever if you take care of them well. they are good motors

    I don't know what you're doing wrong then. I got over 150,000 miles out of my stock tranny in my car and it was raced quite a bit back in the day. Sad part is the tranny is in my shed and still works. I replaced it for a stronger, geared/stalled race tranny.

    Oh and my other GTP has 146,000 miles on its original tranny.

    Goes to show you, a little maintence goes a long ways......

    Dave is awesome. I always watch his vids when I want a good laugh. It looks as if the fire started near the back manifold area... maybe a leaking VC gasket???

    i remember catching those videos somewhere before. i always get a good laugh out of his vids
    1998 Grand Prix GTP Stock for now mods to come soon. Alpine 9885 head unit, 2 JLW3V2 10s, 2 Jensen 650x2 amps, and Tsunami wiring all the way around.
