I think the PT74 is a tad bit overkill. But in a good way of coarse.

He's goin to hit it with a 40-60shot of nitrous to help it spool up faster after he gets the misfire issue figured out.

I am plagued by the misfire issues too... just how small can you gap a plug? lmao...

i have constant misfires as well. i have just let it go as a symptom of having a modded car. it can misfire at idle all it wants.

I'd rather have too much turbo then not enough, that's for sure!

Just like my fuel system. Went ahead and sumped the tank, did an Aeromotive A1000 pump and Ford Racing 80# injectors, just in case i decide to REALLY go crazy with the car, and no keep it as my daily drive as it is now!

I loved the fact that under full throttle, he was still showing 0.0 in KR.

How is that A1000 working for you? What's your Inj duty % looking like? What was needed to swap to the ford 80# injectors?

I was going to go with hte A1000 a while back but decided against it. MAinly because everyone said it was not a good pump. I used to be into mustangs real big and that's all they used.

But the blower becomes more and more of a restriction after 400+hp. Most of his races are roll races and traction isn't on our side with these cars anyway, so its probably better that way... lol

And before that it was a cartuning kit i believe. But the z7 was cammed.

My Inj Duty Cycle was 76%, and the A1000 is working very well for me! I had a FuelLab Brushless pump before and it went to crap, so i replaced it with the A1000 and it has worked out well for me! The main reason people dont like the A1000 is because of cooling issues, but mine is mounted right under my spare tire well, under the car, and it gets plenty of air there!

The injectors only needed the plug adaptors (ford to gm) and that was it.

Also, i bought the car about 3.5 years ago with a CT kit on it and a VS cam. I switched to a different converter and a ST2 cam, then i switched to ported heads and a Z7 kit, with a custom intake setup. Then i put the current kit on the car.....so my car has been around the block a time or two! ;-)

Notice on the second run it catches traction in 1st gear and then seems to ramp up the boost when it gets into 2nd gear? Well that is the 2 stage boost controller. I have a button on my steering wheel that allows me to set 2 boost levels so that i hook in both gears.

14psi in 1st gear, then i hit the button at the shift, and boom, another 150whp in 2nd gear!
