See its their global platform thats doing oh so much better then GM ever has.

GM owns parts, most of GM's ideas since the early 50's have come from australia. all of our muscle cars well the 60's versions were all holden designs.

1953 holden had a ute out, wow GM didnt bring the us version of the ute until 1959 in the form of the el camino, and just like GM ford did the same thing but ford au is a direct link to ford US.

they arent another "division" its GM's global market.

Anyone who has served overseas has seen this especially in europe and the middle east, not to mention japan.

Besides holden has been in business since 1856, its a partnership not a division of GM. Holden had 1.3 billion in exports in 2006, GM spent that much on a redesign of the camaro and corvette.

Like I said maybe Holden should buy out GM this time around, its obvious that this entity does far better in auto sales and development then GM does.

All you GTO owners, you coulda gotten a real monaro shipped over for under 20 grand US.
