you do know the phone payments are the second highest form of credit card fraud behind store? Online has the best track record the last few years (less than 20% of transactions have fraud compared to 30% at just Wal-Mart) it's easy for the person on the phone to write your card number down and go use it until you notice, and you have no clue who they areI would rather talk to someone rather than paying it online.

Yup I know, it's usually an automated person but we just have it taken out of our account every month if that company offers to that. If not we call if we have forgotten to make a payment that month.
