I still find it hard to believe so many complain, a couple maybe. I mean it was properly tagged and I good disclaimer put on it. People can't be that damn stupid. But than again there a several idiots in the world, i swear i've met most of them out in the oil patches all over Oklahoma! LOL

As for this being a family environment, i'm sorry I don't see little kids coming on this site. There are a few that are 16 or so, but I don't see 12 yr olds comming here. I don't picture families eating dinner and getting on the TVO to surf the forum together, I'm sorry but I can bet that don't happen either.

If younger kids are going to come on here and see the mild content I posted on this thread, you honestly think they can't go somewhere else a get free hardcore porno? If the kid is going to do something, he's gonna do it and not even his parents can stop him, been there done that. Some know better, some do not. For example, myself... By the time I was 16/17 years old I had access to all the alcohol I wanted, damn near any kind of drug I wanted, cigarettes, chew, beer, sex, etc. Did I do any of this when I had the chance? Except for a little beer, nope. I stayed clean, couldn't tell you how many times I got offered weed or cocaine even chew and cigarettes. Why I never fell into peer pressure? Because I wasn't a dumbass, and i've never been the type to follow the pack so to speak. Yes I did drink a little bit and the sex was there, but I was reasonable about my actions, again I wasn't a idiot about it. I'll admit, some of it I shouldn't of done because I could of ended up in really bad shape (having a kid at 16? hell no!). If you want to keep kids exposed from bad stuff here, trust me, this ain't the place to start. There already exposed well before this place. Thats my opinion though, speaking from first hand experiance.

Next time you or anyone else needs to fix something of mine, please PM me at least. I'd like a better explaination, I'd rather discuss off the boards than blow up on the thread (like I did). BTW, I'm sorry for that. I was pissed at the time and its not like I could edit my post because a copy of it was quoted below. Thats why I moved on.

I'm still cool, and still understand. Thats why I brought up the Idea of a private free for all. It needs to be considered I think...

Shawn, I really dont know what to say to you. If you think the stuff you posted should be on a car forum then perhaps you need to spend more time on ClubGP where that sorta thing is wanted. Im not saying that in a hateful way, just stating the fact. This is a car forum, whether you declare its work safe or not.

We dont need a private forum on here for that stuff, our mission and purpose as a community is clear. The only suggestion I have for you would be to start your own community that is centered around that kind of content if its that important to you. But it isnt welcome here, doesnt belong here and does little to nothing to advance this community.

I think you and the other Admins need to be more open minded about my suggestion. Read the last post I made on that thread, it basically answered what you just said about starting another community with different content. Thats crazy in my opinon. I seem to have a lot of support on my end for this idea, so it may not be as dumb of an idea as you think. Its not like it'll be a hardcore porno board, it'll be a more lax setting though.

I know how religious you are, and you probably only think about Church 24/7. Its ok to have religion, but at the same time this is the real world too. I'm not dissing you in anyway, congrats on having your own faith, I have it too believe it or not (although secretly i'm sure you think i'm the devil or something close to that). But some of us like to have a little fun outside of the 10 comandments.

If you dont like my posts, dont read them. If you dont like the way I post, well you're on your own there. If you dont like the rules here, dont participate in the community. Perhaps the next time, before you jump to conclusions you should look into things a bit better.

I mean really, Im not saying this to be hateful, Im just stating the facts. You seem to have an issue when someone does not support your opinion, and you get bent out of shape when any action is taken to keep things in line with the rules here and you have little tolerance for anything done in a manner that isnt what you wanted done so maybe starting your own community or participating more in another would suit you better.

As I said above, I apoligize for my post. I was pissed and I know how i've been a target with you in the past (at least I feel I have been) so I would of bet money you were try to get on my ass. I was wrong and I publically admit that. I'm man enough to take responsibilties for my action. Here I am doing it.

As for getting mad at people not supporting my opinion, No thats only with you. We've butted heads many times, i'll admit that.

I hope thats not the case, I'd prefer you stay around here. However, if you do, then then the rules we have outlined will be followed and enforced. Its just that simple. The goal was to make this more of a family safe and friendly community and to leave behind some of the practices of ClubGP. I dont want anyone to have to think twice about pulling up a thread at work, or having to send the kids out of the room to look at something on here and I aim to keep it that way.

Not all of the practices of ClubGP were bad. Just the banning of people trying to make a difference and deleting random posts (which i've had experiance here on car topic stuff). This can be a friendly environment, a family environment, i'm sorry but no car forum is that. This ain't the Disney website.

IMO, if you're dumb enough to go on a private free for all forum and read the topics, of if you're somewhere and you read a thread clearly marked NWS w/ a disclaimer, you deserve what you get if you're truely that damn stupid. Surely you and everyone else is smarter than that.

This isnt about open mindedness, or about my faith, or any of that. I dont care what you can find on the web at what age or how easily you may have access to it. This is simply a car community. Its also not a democracy. If people are interested in that sort of stuff, there are plenty of communities out there in which you can participate in that and it doesnt have to be strictly some kind of pure porno site either. There are forums out there for no other reason than to just gather people and discuss life and everyday happenings and so on. This isnt one of them. Its a community centered around cars.

Now, that said, I see your point to the extent of needing a place to just horse around and kick back, but thats why we have the Lounge area. We have had numerous threads on here that have been rather fun to participate in, really popular (heck, the thread with the most posts on here was started by a member that no longer visits here).

We dont have to be bombarded with sexual inuindos and tasteless jokes and videos and all that to hang out and have fun. It has nothing to do with faith or religion, morality or any of that. It has everything to do with just having a simple place to come together as a community and have a good decent place to discuss something we all have in common. Its about having a place to refer people for help without having to apologize for content, signatures, avatars and all that stuff.

As well, not everything that is questionable that gets posted on here from time to time is marked NWS (though I will give you credit for at least putting that in the title to give fair warning) and I dont want to be crusing the forums at work and get surprised just as a manager or senior manager happens to be walking by. They have fired people at work for stuff like that. Some were just down right blatant but others were simply looking at stuff that would have fallen in the category that you and others may have classified as 'not that bad' or 'just havin' fun' and so forth and there are many work places that have such policies. When Im at work, if Im caught up and have gotten what I need to take care of taken care of, they have no issues with me being on the internet and I certainly dont want to have anyone peeking over my shoulder thinking Im looking at inappropriate material. You know what they say about the one bad apple. Keeping it completely out of here takes care of that issue. There are other places you can visit and participate in that sort of content if you wish.

Also, what I posted about the rules wasnt a threat, it was mearly a statement of fact and how things work. It may not be a Walt Disney site, but you are looking at a site that has done a fantastic job in being not only friendly but family friendly. As the site grows and generates more and more traffic and as more and more people frequent here, that becomes a BIG plus for those wishing to sponsor the site or advertise here.

Sorry dude, we're not normal. We are bad people people and we're going to hell because of us being guys. Oh well. I do all the above, except chasing women since I am married. Although when I wasn't I chased my fair share of skirts, believe me! LOL
