engines are easy. i go to UTI and when i got to my first class, basic engines, i was falling asleep in class basically, never studied for anything, and still got a 99.9% in that class, missed 1 question on the final cause i was rushing to get it done and go home.

    Lol

Engines are easy, they only go together one way, if not youll soon find out your mistake.

Now try putting a big block into a 3rd gen f body in less then 8 hours start to fire up and 20 minute break in.

too bad book work is like 70 percent of it. Diagnosing is another story also. As for transmissions, manuals arent that tough, some autos can be tricky but the 4t65e is cake with an atsg manual, rebuilt mine with my bros help still goin strong with my lead foot 40k later...

Congrats! Thats going to be a great experiance for you that will last a lifetime. I wish I would of taken classes like that when I had the chance. Luckily for me in High School an older friend of mine was a gear head and I learned alot from him on building big block Chryslers. Without his knowledge and treaching I'd only know how to do basic maintence. I wish I had someone to wrench with nowadays, I tend to be solo on everything I do nowadays. I still wrench on something every weekend though, alone or not. The only way to learn is to be hands on, screw up a few times, and try again. Its worth it in the end.

Good luck man, your lucky to have the opertunity. Its too late for me...
