    I had a 3.5 pulley, HAI, "tuned pcm" (fuel tweaked at cruise for MPG. After comparing it to a stock file, no timing or anything was changed. Running lean as hell and the shifts are slower to save the tranny. That came from the man that did the tuning) 3" DP and slicks to cut a 1.9 60. Id say thats impressive for what it is.

    Dont worry, I dont plan on messing with mid 13s next spring.

    syP, dont you love how people want to race me with the race CARZZZ in my whittle ole bolt on Regal. LOL. Then I say step upto Paul and they shut the **** up.

    No offense Bob, but that drag car has been under construction for 2 years now, hasnt seen a motor in god knows how long. GL getting it to the track this year.

    We used to have an '84 Regal.(Gangsta)haha Those were the good ole days. I'm sure it woulda beat my GP.

    still had more mods then me at the time

    and the whore was not touched until aug of 06 and didnt get the cage and frame done until Nov 07......seems like 1 year to me and that was taking our time to design it and do it right
    sorry if not finishing a car in one month of getting the chassis done isnt fast enough for you brian. we have all winter to play with the motor. we are not as irresponsible to rush a motor with a build like this. with mulitiple sponsers and james and V under the hood, 08 will be a crazy year.
    and we never expected it to run in 07

    V will be chasing pauls times hopefully by summer.

    has paul joined over here yet??

    What the slicks?? LOL. A pulley, tire, open cone and DP is more then what you had? I find that very hard to believe. It takes my trans forever to shift at WOT. A tenth or 2 could be gained simply by that. Not to mention I had a measly 3.5 pulley and Im going to guess you had a 3.4. Granted the blower should make a difference but lots speculate that it wont until you start going sub 3.0

    Paul ran his times with a conservative tune and a 2.8 pulley. Id love to see another IL car touch his times now. Not to meantion spring time. Tell V have fun and I hope he likes silvermist. I think he will be seeing alot of it from its backside.

    Im not out to break any huge records. The way the funds are looking, I might crack 12s. Who knows. That will all depend on the tune and what else I can afford. Not blazingly fast, but it will put up with 75% of the cars I see on the road and roughly half of the Wbodys in IL.

    mufflers, a 3.4 pulley and a thrasher intake is what i had so yeah you had more the i did. and we all know a mufflers do whole lot for these cars at that power level. your 3.5 was still making more boost then my 3.4 was
    i didnt even get the 1.0 from you at that point. and this was before i started gutting the car all the way. only diff from my 13.9 pass to my 13.6 was the passenger seat was taken out. arent you running with out a CAT as well?
    good luck tho with your mods and some headers i see you passing my old 13.6 time quickly.
    pauls times are very respectable, and i said V would be chasing him not necessarily passing him. but Vs car will also be a daily driver with out wheelie bars.
    and V will not have any sub 3.0 pulley....hell there will be no pulley at all
    i see at least 3 cars in IL going that quick or faster. James wont be sleeping until they do.

    GTPluv what did you done to your 84 regal?
