I think your car is that loud coming out the mufflers lol. That resinator definately helped on the highway though. When you are ready to turbo that T70 is still sitting in the garage![]()
don't get me wrong i like how my car sound right now, but the sound of that turbo with cut out exhaust is sooooo addicting. maybe next year i'll go turbo. look at this this dave, it's in my room right now and i'm staring at it everyday
. 2 more months away.

Sounds amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow that's easily the best 3800 I've ever heard, I love it.
if your thinking an iced m90 is going to supress your desire for the pssssshhhhhhhhh hair dryer, you sir are not going to be happy : - P
once you go turbo, you will never go back.... and if your like me you will want to put a turbo on everything
anyone that picks a blower over a turbo is a retard. the benefits outweigh a blower significantly. i would build a turbo car if i had the money for it, but i cant justify dropping $5k on a turbo kit. i also dont care for the FWD anymore..
although the blower makes for a great DD.
i love to get a turbo kit, but for now the ic is all i can afford. i don't have $5k for a turbo kit either. my parents won't give me allowance they said i'm too old for that. for now what ever i can afford that will make power i will take that route. in time turbo will come.

but if you look back to all the money in mods you have put into the m90, you could have had an ICed turbo kit. And i dunno where you guys are getting this 5k number from....
i dont even have 5k in my custom turbo kit on the GN, and that is a one off.
didnt have 3k in my ICed turbo kit i had on my old GS, that was a sicka$$ setup too
its all in how competent you are finding the parts ; - )
i pretty much did all the work to my car by myself. only things ive bought so to say are the rockers, headers, alky, and pullies.
and if you want a nice turbo setup (stattama) you need to spend around $5k, unless you make your own. piping is the hard part of it all.
Yup I have spend way over that. By the time you figure the 1'' chain, fuel pump, fuel pump harness, wideband, cutout, guages, springs, cam, double roller,A2A,gen5 to gen3 TB bracket,Torq-converter,transmission cooler, transmission oil ect ect ect. It get's expensive. Real expensive.
Anyone looking to build a turbo kit that is capable of over 500WHP that is near stock right now look into spending around 7000.
There is a lot more to it then just the turbo kit. a lot more.

Hey Chody, how did you have only 3k in your ICed Turbo kit? Who did your piping?
If I could find someone to bend me some mandrel bent pipes, would of gone Turbo long ago. I won't by from Cartuning because of there issues and I definatly won't buy from ZZP because Zooomer is a dickhead and ripped me off (long story).
I'd like to screw around with a twincharged setup for ****s and giggles. I still have my PEMs on hand, all I want to do is create a custom crossover. I don't plan on ICing, I already have an A/W. My extra cooling would come from my Alky I already have.
Thats what I would like to do....
buy a used kit for half the price. I had an fbody upper/lower intake setup on the CT kit, with a treadstone IC and madrel piping for the IC from jegs (pre bent 2.5" U-bends fit perfect) I had prolly 300 in the IC with piping.
and you dont need to buy a stattama to have a nice kit, that is a load of $hit, and rediculous that people think that way to be honest.
TDC is correct that for 500whp apps you need alot more than just a turbo kit, but just like modding an m90, you can start small and upgrade. only thing is you are starting with a TURBO setup that is much more capable than an m90. Granted you will need to either find a nice welder or used kit, but you would thank yourself in the end. anybody that doesnt believe that needs to take a ride in a well put together turbo car
hairdryer pwnZ all n3wBs
for a nice KIT i would go with stattama. a KIT has nothing to do with a turbo setup in the least, besides that it is complete. i would more than likely piece one together on my own because my pops has a few turbos lying around from his drag bike.
